According to our research, between January and April 2026:
🔴 2,755 GBV cases were documented
🔴 82% of these (2,259 incidents) involved sexual violence
🔴 That's an average of 23 reported cases of abuse, every single day
🔴 Women and girls make up 81% of survivors, with schoolgirls aged 10 to 14 the most targeted group

These are more than statistics. They are lives disrupted, futures threatened and rights violated.

Enough is enough. It is time to strengthen prevention efforts, ensure survivors have access to justice and support, and hold perpetrators accountable.
