The Facilities Dept. of @GLSDwildcats assessed the minor damage caused by strong winds this week. We are grateful that the building operations remained largely unaffected. These events are a reminder that we must plan for redundant building systems to ensure greater resilience.

Our @GLSDwildcats Facilities Dept., in partnership with Garland @GarlandWorks and TMR Roofing @tectaamerica, conducts bi-annual inspections of roofs across the district to ensure the dryness of our buildings. The inspections are a crucial part of maintaining our aging roofs.
