@systemdesignone Ok, you have listed negatives. What are the positives? Now, what alternative has those positives, and doesn't have those negatives? Now you know why people use docker. Congrats.
@TotherAlistair Can you show me one instance in modern LLM workflows where the code gets regenerated each time? It doesn't happen to any modern workflows in mature systems. With the exception of a few boundary 1 out of ten thousand edge cases.
@plainionist Reading code has always been harder than writing. This deficiency in developers has been papered over by primarily reading things the dev wrote. If your AI writes code you can't read and don't understand it's likely a deficiency of the reader.
@digitalshane_ Why is the assumption that everyone's experience with AI the same as your own so prevalent? YOU are wasting tokens going in circles. This means nothing for the rest of us. It's a dynamic system. Break out of this thinking. Ask why YOU ended up in that loop.
@SergioRocks A lot of work was already done this way. Startups, innovation centers, labs, POCs, etc. AI definitely didn't create it. It didn't quite reveal it either. It expand it. Shift out, vs shift left.
@housecor There is a lot of conversation in this thread with opinions but we also have zero indication of what the goal is and what other accommodating system they have in place.
