I watched the entire USA vs. Paraguay match. Yes, we looked good. Passing and 1st touches were elite. Finishes were even better. Minimal turnovers. Momentum and optimism are both high. But Paraguay is ranked #42 in the world. We need to show we can do this against a Top 20 team.

Streator EF-3 tornado. Photo taken by my dad from the house I grew up in, after he came up from the basement. He estimated it came within 1/4 mile (he heard the freight train), and crop damage confirmed it. 5 minutes after this photo, dozens of homes got destroyed. Very lucky.

How good was Crystal Lake Central (CLC)? No common opponents with Morton. CLC beat Lake Forest. Lake Forest beat Lake Zurich. Lake Zurich beat Libertyville. Libertyville drew 1-1 with New Trier before losing in PKs. New Trier won the 3A title over Naperville Central (#2 in US).
