Made my first Walter the Giant Storyteller appearance in over two years. Family literacy night at a Title I school. 87% free and reduced lunch. I had a blast and so did they. Still got it!

Announced school closure at noon and let students check out as many books as they could carry. Many took me seriously. Someone found a box of plastic garbage bags. My library looks as if it has been attacked by zombies.
