@Avacodo89 I get it, like the concept Lagos suit would go hard or a jacket like the TFA one over this look but I also kinda love dad-fit Steve whooping ass with Mutants, magicians and monsters. If they slapped his ass in some New Balance, it would really tie it all together.
@wrestleroller This was a misdirection OR, and more likely, actually a scene shot for the Endgame rerelease that'll tie into Doomsday after a time jump.
Every time someone says this about any plotline from a D+ show popping up in the mainline movies I'm like "... yes?"
Especially cuz the viewership/reception for Shulkie was so low and they passed on a S2. It did very poorly.
MOST people didn't watch the shows dawg.
@avoidrobin Funny as this is, I'm betting on him being Jack Ryder. It's a small role apparently so I don't expect someone SUPER known but I don't see them blowing a big name on a one and done either. Plus, he would totally kill it as Ryder across multiple projects and Creeper down the line.
@Fenrirtheicewo1 And let's not pretend that there's not a good reason to do it here. You make William way more interesting by making him clearly a hypocrite like this. If they're going the Mutant/Civil Rights allegory route, there's a lotta story/character mileage you could get out of this change
@Mutant_Menace It's about execution. Also all but 2 of the names you have there are regular players in Spider-Man or at least make sense to include in a street level Spidey flick.
The only curveball is Jean and even then, Peter runs into the X-Men often enough that ONE Mutant isn't intrusive.
This suit looks like a mid-budget cosplay that someone can feasibly acquire/make for around 200-300$, while still looking professional enough to pass as an authentic superhero suit, and that's literally perfect and exactly what a live action spider-man suit should be
People will say this like Wonder Man isn't a thing that exists and is great.
Moreover, literally coming this year is RDJ Doom which, like it or not, is the only TRULY unique, ballsy idea they had in the entire Multiverse Saga.
As someone who’s been critical of the DCU, an anthology series about Jimmy Olsen conducting investigations on different DC supervillains sounds fucking awesome y’all are just lame.
@spidermanias Genuinely the best voice actor for classic Spider-Man, even over Yuri and Josh. The way he delivers quips and lines is straight out of the first 3 decades of the character. Always put his heart into it
@PSYCHOKINETICE1@Bastardwasp0 That's my point. He can't logically decide to be Space Hitler. Sound logic doesn't allow for the Space Hitler outcome.
A sleep deprived, depressed, paranoid, scorned, would-be-should-be legend with a devil on his shoulder tho works 100% AND allows his redemption later
@SpiderKM06 Agreed. There's a difference in liking Peter because he struggles in relatable ways and relishing in his endless suffering.
The end goal of the character should be OVERCOMING those challenges, not succumbing to them and a lot of these people seem to want the latter
