Well I have learned a lot. The orchid is in a clear pot that allows the roots to be soaked. I put it in room temp water for 5 mins every Saturday to soak the roots and bark. Then place it back into the decorative pot. Learned how the temp changes will get it to send a shoot for blooms. You should give it a go.

@LMac_1326 I have always liked buying orchids for the bride over our 30+ years. They always seem to bloom once then die within 2 years. I purchased the latest last spring. I have been hell bent on getting it to thrive and it is currently blooming again and is very satisfying!
