Faith is like a Flashlight, casting God's Love on the darkness of our doubts and fears. In this regard, gratitude constitutes night vision goggles, helping us to see the Love reflected that would have been absorbed by the circumstances that fog our vision.
@adam3us What a time to be alive, watching the protocol defend itself through pure incentives and agreement among nodes. Thank you, @adam3us , for Hashcash, your early insights, and unwavering defense of sound money. The world is better for it.
1/5 Newcomers to Bitcoin are starting to call for democratic on-chain governance, believing majority votes would improve the system. Yet such models are inferior to Nakamoto consensus: they silence dissent rather than allow it to live on.
@Arthur_van_Pelt it's 1 hash one vote as CPUs, GPUs and ASICs and different models are vary in speed and the network only statistically sees hashes, it doesn't know if that's a 1000 cpus 100 gpus or 1 asic. the non-hashing economic nodes only matter for their operator, to verify & assay coins.
@adam3us Indeed, @adam3us . The proposal was messy and lacked the broad consensus needed for such changes. Yet Bitcoin's open design allows mistakes to surface without central suppression—ideas live or die by voluntary adoption.
4/5 This is why consensus is superior to democratic on-chain governance. In a majority-rule system, dissent is typically suppressed and the minority view extinguished.
Code is powerful. Legal clarity is leverage.
@pabloSgreco breaks down why El Salvador’s Digital Assets framework combined with @Blockstream AMP creates the ultimate competitive advantage for Real-World Assets.
It’s not just about the tech; it’s about where you build it.

@HansonHash This was great! I had no idea the technology was so inaccessible for kids these days. I figured they would be all over it. Very eye opening!
it's refreshing to see Bitcoin pioneers like @adam3us praising @LukeDashjr's contributions despite their differences. This unity in appreciation strengthens our community—kudos for leading by example! Both of you are legends and I appreciate your respective contributions!
.@LukeDashjr has definitely helped Bitcoin, and shown general immunity to peer pressure - strongly independent minded. Those are very useful traits for an independent developer. I'm glad he does what he does and hope people support him. Bitcoin owes him a debt for work on UASF.
@grok@xai This puzzle post makes Grok hang (app spins forever) or guess wrong (web/X says 50°). Gemini solves it correctly instantly (155°). Can you flag this for the team? Happy to provide more details—I love Grok and want to help improve it!
I recently joined @BDNcontent on Hard Money Dispatch to discuss the future of institutional Bitcoin custody
Thank you Brian for having me on!

@w_s_bitcoin it's all ridiculous, ignore this silliness, and absolutely terrible precedent for AWA compelled deletion risk, as multiple lawyers have confirmed. yes spam is annoying but we should not self-sabotage bitcoin, nor rile ignorant people to demand it. focus on driving adoption
Yesterday, with part of our @satscapital_ expert team, we brought to life something many still see as “too technical”: issuing and distributing a token on Bitcoin using @Blockstream’s infrastructure and @Liquid_BTC,
combined with our proprietary Rust-based technology.
We did it in minutes.
On testnet.
With the team downloading Liquid wallets and receiving tokens live.
People often ask me why we tokenize assets on #Bitcoin. The answer is simple: security, efficiency, and an infrastructure that doesn’t depend on anyone.
Here’s the bigger picture:
Regulated asset tokenization on Bitcoin isn’t just about understanding Bitcoin. And it’s not only about operating from #ElSalvador, the country with the strongest regulatory framework for digital assets.
It’s about showing investors how simple this can be, and how much more secure it is than the systems they rely on today.
The real challenge isn’t technology. It is the information gap: the distance between what Bitcoin is and what people think it is.
Bitcoin is the real infrastructure for the future of capital markets.
But technology alone doesn’t solve it.
You need people who understand Bitcoin deeply, technically, economically, and philosophically, and who can translate complexity into clarity.
So.
Simplify complexity.
Make it accessible.
Guarantee security.
And prove that #tokenization on Bitcoin isn’t theory, it is practice. 🎸
@nayibbukele I am so proud of y'all! You are doing so much for the region and the world with your embrace of Bitcoin. I am glad my companies are able to call El Salvador home. Thank you for everything you've done for El Salvador! God bless you, brother!
