This is extremely concerning for our Azerbaijani communities everywhere. We have been vocal about the aggressive spread of ethnic hatred by certain Armenian diaspora organizations in the US and Canada, leading to such dangerous radicalization of their youth.
Given the history of terrorism by Armenian terrorist group ASALA in the 1970s and 1980s, including the murder of a Turkish military attaché in Ottawa🇨🇦 in 1973, we urge the @rcmpgrcpolice to exercise utmost vigilance regarding the rising threats toward Azerbaijani and Turkish communities.

We are alarmed by the actions of MPs @GarnettGenuis, @sbergeron, @alexboulerice, who appear to have been influenced by certain Armenian diaspora organizations into endorsing narratives that not only grossly misrepresent historical and political realities of the South Caucasus region, but whitewash a bloody military invasion and occupation of Azerbaijan’s sovereign territories for over 30 years.
1. The “self-governing territory” being advocated for in a recent video by MP Genuis was, in fact, a Russia-backed entity, established by Armenian military forces on the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan following a brutal invasion and civilian massacres. This entity was never recognized by any country, including Canada.
2. Over 30 years ago, Armenian forces forcibly displaced over 700,000 ethnic Azerbaijanis from their homes, allowing 100,000 Armenians to claim “self-determination” on Azerbaijani soil, despite having an independent Armenian state adjacent to the region.
3. The United Nations Security Council passed 4 resolutions calling for the withdrawal of Armenian forces from these occupied territories, yet Armenia did not comply. Throughout this period, Azerbaijan remained committed to peaceful negotiations, even offering political autonomy to the region in 2016—a proposal that was ultimately rejected. See links in the tweets below.
4. When peaceful proposals were rejected, Azerbaijan exercised its right to restore its territorial integrity, much like Ukraine’s current efforts to defend its sovereignty. It is important to maintain consistency in international relations. Supporting Ukraine's efforts to secure its freedom while criticizing Azerbaijan for similar actions raises questions about the application of double standards.
We are extremely concerned for the spread of misinformation and encourage Canadian MPs to engage thoughtfully and constructively in discussions about the region, focusing on initiatives that promote genuine, long-lasting peace and respect for internationally recognized borders.

In another historic development in the South Caucasus, the border pillars have been established between Azerbaijan and Armenia for the first time since the fall of the Soviet Union, marking the beginning of the border demarcation process between the two countries🇦🇿🇦🇲.
Despite the efforts of radical diaspora groups and their supporters to disrupt the peace process, we are glad to see these historic developments between Azerbaijan and Armenia. #CaucasusPeace
Our statement on today’s peace talks between Azerbaijan and Karabakh Armenians in Yevlakh, Azerbaijan.
We welcome the end of the hostilities in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, and the start of a fruitful peace-building process between Azerbaijan and the local Armenian population now that the illegal militant regime has finally been disarmed. #Karabakh
NEW: @AlJazeera interview with the Head of Foreign Policy Affairs of Azerbaijan, @HikmetHajiyev.
“Azerbaijan’s intention is that with the disarming of this military infrastructure on the ground, and also the dissolving of the illegal political system that they have established on the territories of Azerbaijan, there will be much better chances for the peaceful reintegration of Armenians from Karabakh to the social, political, economic spectrum of Azerbaijan.”
According to international law, the region of Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan. As of right now, all of Azerbaijan’s military operations are taking place inside Azerbaijan. Armenia is not being invaded. Armenian troops *inside* Azerbaijan are being attacked. These are facts.
Military fortified outpost of armenian forces in Karabakh with digged line of trenches. Despite being a legitimate military target, the operation was aborted due to the presence of civilians and vehicles nearby. Azerbaijan doesn't target civilians!
🇺🇸United States on the sham “elections” held by an illegal Armenian entity in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region👇🏼
“As we have said in the past we do not recognize Karabakh as an independent and sovereign state and therefore we do not recognize the results of those so-called presidential elections.”
From the money talks series! Apparently, in the eve of the "anniversary" of the most terrible, bloody and criminal separatist entity in Europe so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Rep", a new dramatic misinformation and manipulation campaign was launched by the order of the Armenian Government and armenian lobby groups.
At least, but disgracefully, the former NATO Secretary General does not deny that he is paid by the Government of Armenia for propaganda campaign. Copy of income sheet is attached.
Hypocritically, some politicians divide the world between "good and bad separatists and criminals". Old habits die hard!
But disturbing is that the BBC in its Charter declaring that "is committed to achieving due impartiality in all its output. This commitment is fundamental to our reputation, our values and the trust of audiences" is engaged in one-sided and biased aggressive manipulation and promotion of lies as well in "Context" program. BBC should serve as a platform for all voices, particularly on sensitive topics. @bbcworldservice
TORONTO - Please see our statement regarding Canada’s Foreign Minister, Hon. @melaniejoly’s recent comments regarding Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region.
In the strongest possible terms we condemn the usage of illegal separatist terminology in reference to Azerbaijan’s sovereign regions. Full statement👇🏼 @GAC_Corporate
BREAKING: an 8th mass grave has been discovered in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, which was invaded & occupied by Armenia from 1992 until 2020.
Video 1: Journalist Orkhan Amashov reports on the finding of the mass grave in Shusha. Remains of 17 people have been discovered at the site of the Shusha prison, where Armenian forces kept Azerbaijani prisoners during the occupation.
Video 2: Zabil was taken prisoner as a child, shortly after the Armenian forces shot his grandmother in front of him in 1993. Three decades later, Zabil recounts the horrors of being tortured in the Shusha prison as a child.
None of the perpetrators have ever been held accountable.

NEW: The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan @Bayramov_Jeyhun & Armenia @AraratMirzoyan being welcomed by Secretary @SecBlinken for the next round of peace negotiations in Arlington, Virginia today.
We hope to soon see the signing of a lasting peace agreement between 🇦🇿&🇦🇲 based on respect for sovereignty & territorial integrity of both countries.
Did you discuss the Armenian community’s lack of accountability for whitewashing their massacres against Azerbaijanis, ethnic cleansing and illegal occupation of Azerbaijan for 30 years?
130 years since the birth of Khadija Gayibova, a pioneer amongst Azerbaijani female pianists to perform traditional mugham on the classical piano, paving way for the great Vagif Mustafazade, who’d fuse mugham with American jazz some 40 years later.
Khadija Gayibova was one of the co-founders of the Azerbaijani State Conservatory, together with Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
For her attempts to preserve Azerbaijani national music during the most brutal years of Bolshevik occupation, Khadija Gayibova was shot and killed during Stalin’s repressions in 1938.

Urgent: Three Azerbaijani civilians were just killed as a result of an anti-tank landmine explosion in Azerbaijan. Photo below is what is left of their vehicle. Our deepest condolences to the families of the innocent victims.
In 2.5 years, 283 Azerbaijanis have fallen victim to landmines planted in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, following the region’s three-decade-long occupation by Armenia. Azerbaijan needs urgent, lifesaving de-mining support today.
