After a day like today, I do not have words to explain how resilient and amazing our students are. I do not say it enough. They inspire ME!!!!

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

When the weather is this beautiful, we take full advantage! Reading our new books that we checked out yesterday from @WBE_Library ☀️ 📚 💐 🌱

[Alice Asako M Walle @Music_MrsWalle]

If school resumes w/o teachers prepared with vaccines, do we have enough subswhen teachers need to quarantine? To fill in when teachers need to take a half a day to get the vaccines? Hope @MetroSchools makes the right LONG TERM decision. Students need CONSISTENCY.

In Canada, a child's tooth fell out at school and nobody could find it.

So the Vice Principal sent this letter home, with an explanation for the tooth fairy.

Teachers are awesome.

Thankful @haleynkent taught me how to use NearPod back in July! 🙏🏼

[Alice Asako M Walle @Music_MrsWalle]

Sharing ideas, dreams, & reflections on @nearpod in our class study of Dr MLK Jr. These 4th Graders...❤️ #letsmakeithappenforthem

First time using it yesterday but it was a breeze thanks to our in house PD by @GNisiotis 🙌🏻

I know it’d be difficult, but I wish school districts offered support for students and educators as we prepare for conversations tomorrow. And the next day. And the day after that. Instead of trying to treat it like business as usual. Nothing normal about this.

Dear WB families and community, We may not be together in the gym for our singalong but through music we are still connected. Best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear! https://t.co/lhq9lQMz87 @WaverlybelPTO #musicmatters @shumate_robin

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

If you haven’t used the app novel effect I HIGHLY recommend it. It adds the best sound effects and makes a virtual read aloud a THAT much better!

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

@Kristinlusk Oh so much fun!

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

I’m not sure who needed this more, my students or me? What a fun way to end a Friday! This student won our class writing competition! Who will get to pie Miss N next?!

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

@LauraRHartley @Music_MrsWalle @WB_SenorDiaz @WBESBulldogs You were so super speedy!! Thanks for all that you do!

[Mathew Portell @principalest]

When school districts tell teachers to do one more thing...

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

This really helped me today, maybe it can help you as well. This time is tough, but so are we!

Teachers plates are still overflowing. They still have at least five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to take care of their family too. They need grace & support now more than ever.

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

Positive affirmations leading into this long weekend:
I am PROUD
I am RESILIENT
I am STRONG
I am EXCITED for a weekend of rest and self care!
Happy Friday! Have an amazing weekend! ☀️

[Gabriana Auvil @GNisiotis]

Such a fun morning with @TeachwithKB and having a great time learning and experiencing @WBE_Library . These kiddos put the biggest smiles on my face!
