Archdiocesan Church of the Virgin Mary Soumela (Panagia Soumela)
Cathedral of the Virgin Mary
We are back! This is our Turkish speaking parish dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was based off of the Neoclassic style churches of Constantinople.
Holy Cathedral of Panagia Soumela
Great and Holy Friday, today marks the day that our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins upon the cross. We worship Your passion and Your burial, for by them, You have saved us from death!
I don’t usually talk about my mosques here, but I wanted to share one of them. I built this mosque in the style of a Byzantine church. I tried to incorporate features from typical Byzantine architecture aswell as those of Ottoman architecture. The result is quite interesting!
Holy Cathedral of Panagia Soumela
It has been decided that the cathedral will be moved to the new church as it is much larger in size.

Holy Cathedral of Panagia Soumela
Due to the lack of funds I have decided to temporarily close the Cathedral. It came as a hard decision but I hope to reopen it in the coming weeks. We still have two churches in our town with the Newest nearing completion.
Hi everyone, I have been a bit overwhelmed with school work recently hence why I haven’t been posting updates, I’ve decided to move the church of St George to my other plot which has the main Cathedral. It does look slightly different though. I will upload some pictures soon.
This Church was built to honor the victims of the 1923 Greek Genocide. This Church is also set to be the center of the Anatolian Greek community in Bloxburg. It’s hall will house a school, dance hall, and culture centre.
Holy Parish of Saint George
We are excited to announce that we have expanded our Church! As of next week, the old Church building will be demolished and will make way for the Anatolian Community of Bloxburg hall.
@fathersokratis Hi, as of now the churches and monastery will not be open to public. This is because most of them are not complete. Hopefully sometime soon i will be able to share them with everyone! 🙏
Parish of Saint Dimitrios
Built on the 17/12/1967, this Church is one of our newer churches. Iconography is yet to be completed in some parts of the church.
Just realizing that they both nearly look identical apart from some certain aspects. Although the first Church was not based off a particular Church, the second one however is. The Katholikon resembles that of the monastery of Saint John located in Western Australia.
