@MatthewColler@ZachHicks2@YouTube The best part of the Moorstead story was that he was one of the few Saints that stayed on the field for the extra point after Diggs’ TD.
@B1GDEV@TheRealForno@AtoZSportsNFL You give up a 2nd+ for a good older RB and he gets injured immediately. What then? This isn’t Madden. Draft picks are valuable.
@MatthewColler At the same time, it is a bit inexplicable how Miami saw what TB did to the MN offense and they decided to play a bunch of 2 high safety. They essentially gave Kyler a bunch of TJ over the middle and check downs, which plays to Kyler’s strengths.
@MatthewColler watched the game again, this morning. Take away some of the drive killing pre-snap/procedural penalties and OL miscues, and they put up 30+. Murray looked good. Much more decisive. Darrisaw/Jackson injuries are very concerning.
@MatthewColler My point with KOC is that this seems to be a trend. He simplified the offense for McCarthy, but still didn’t really change it to fit his strengths. I don’t think McCarthy will ever be a good starter, but I bet he’ll be better in the Giants’ offense.
@MatthewColler I’m willing to give the Murray experiment a chance. I just haven’t seen Kyler run this type of offense in his career. If KOC can’t or won’t adjust to Murray’s strengths, the offense is going to continue to struggle. Game 1 looked like KOC asking Kyler to be Darnold.
@MatthewColler When KOC has an accurate pocket passer that can throw it downfield into tight windows, his offense looks great. When he doesn’t, the offense looks horrible. What does that tell you? To me, that looks like someone trying to stick a square peg into a round hole.
@theMilesMiller@PaulCharchian Tell me you never watched any Kyler Murray AZ games without telling me you never watched any Kyler Murray AZ games. 67% completion, 122 pass TD, 62 INT, 32 rush TD. And that’s on a lot of bad teams.
@theMilesMiller@PaulCharchian Murray had a lot of success in AZ in offenses that were tailored to his skillset. The stats don’t lie. Having him constantly take snaps from under center and stand in a pocket behind an OL that he can’t see over, is not going to work. That’s what we saw, yesterday.
