Ontario home buyers can no longer afford what it costs to build new homes. We have to get costs under control and do it yesterday. Thousands of jobs depend on this.

Ottawa’s new home market edged sideways in October with 288 sales, just one more than September and still well below last year’s pace. The real story is that single-detached homes jumped to 45% of all sales, nearly catching townhomes at 48%.
