Elijah is watching but he doesn't want to overwhelm so he decided to take in more of the cafe while the other focused, when he heard his name he turned back only to gasp. "OH! it's perfect! thank you!" he responded enthusiastically, he almost doesn't want to drink it.
he’s so focused in pouring the cream foam over the finished latte, sticking his tongue out a little in concentration before pulling back with a grin. “one puppy sea salt cloud latte for mister elijah!”
smiling while he takes the card back and puts his wallet away, "It's my pleasure, of course." the tall male moved to the other end of the counter and couldn't help but watch as the other got to work, he was excited.
he taps the card on the reader before returning it it. “thank you so much. i shall get to work then!” skips over towards the espresso machine to prepare the coffee before reaching into the fridge underneath to grab the heavy milk.
In 1409, a Mercedarian friar in Valencia stopped a mob from beating a mentally ill man.
That single act sparked a brotherhood unlike anything Europe had seen.
They founded a hospice for the mentally ill, the first of its kind, at a time when such people were mocked, feared, or left to die in the streets.
When famine and plague left children orphaned, the brotherhood expanded again, taking in the abandoned and the forgotten.
Centuries before modern welfare existed, they were feeding, sheltering, and protecting those no one else would.
Their work grew into a devotion so powerful that, in the 1600s, Valencia built an entire basilica for it — the Basilica of Our Lady of the Forsaken.
"I trust you very, very much, I trust few with my coffee." he softly chuckles and hands the other his card. "Shiwoo, you have a lovely café, thank you." his eyes look around with a soft smile resting on his lips.

"Tae it is, It's a pleasure to meet you." Elijah smiled softly and then managed to get his leg free from the leash, "I try to be nice, there isn't enough of it these days." smiling he heard the other order two coffees. "Oh thank you-" he gently got his other leg free +

︎
"Call me Tae. It's nice to meet you. He must sense good people because you seem really nice." He turns to the worker. "Two iced coffees please. Put it on my tab. Add a thirty percent tip. Thank you." He turns and smiles. "I get coffee here while on patrol a lot."

⠀⠀
"he just know good people when he sees them, I love dogs." he laughed with a gentle smile. "Me? Oh well Yes I tend to be a people person and an Animal lover, I make friends easily." Elijah lifted his head and smiled more. "I am Elijah, and what is yours?"
⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀

︎
"He doesn't understand stranger danger at all. I swear he just goes up to anyone and everyone." He shakes his head with a small smile. "You seem like the type to make friends with anyone and everyone." He noted. "What's your name?" He asked.

⠀⠀
When the dog lunged and excitedly jumped up Elijah laughed softly and then stayed still so the other could try to get the leash untangled. "It's okay I can definitely relate-" his hands gently ruffled the dog's face and smiled "You are just a friendly guy art you?" +

︎
Almost as if fate, his dog ran up to the other, jumping and leaping around the legs. Tangling the leash around them. "Sorry. He's a little eager. He smelled food. He gets excited for sure. Just ignore him." He reaches to untangle the leash.

⠀⠀
Elijah seemed satisfied with his photo and mad his way down the side walk he noticed the dog more than anything else he loved dogs, cats, all of it he didn't wanna look weird so he made his way across the part to get an ice coffee from a food truck.

Multiple photos are taken. He wont be seen or known yet. In fact, he's going to follow the other. Thankfully he brought his dog with him. So the other won't take him as a threat but rather another person just existing. Tucking his camera back inside his jacket.

⠀⠀
Elijah was a not paying attention his camera aimed for the sky as he took a few more photos and lowered it to look over the photos on the scree, a smile on his face as he did so, the Architect too enthusiastic about his photos. "oh- this is my favorite."

Then there he was. 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐, '𝒀𝑶𝑼.' & all at once, it feels as if the sky is turning. Out comes his own camera from under his jacket. He takes a clear photo of the other person. 𝑌𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑏𝑜𝑦, 𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛'𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢. He can just tell.
