@TrumbullComic @BittrScrptReadr Homicide is one of the best shows ever, even in its later (somewhat weaker) seasons. Think it not being on any streaming or in reruns keeps it sidelined. Its DNA is all over many shows that followed.

@TrumbullComic As pop fiction meant to be read for enjoyment, some judicious editing & updating is needed. The originals can circulate as scholarly editions, providing context and as a record of their troubling history. Even "for the time" Fleming strays over some lines.
