Many people hold libertarian values and principles, but they don’t know it yet. That’s why it’s so important to engage people in conversations. #communication
Through public documents and family records, a @Reuters examination discovered at least 100 members of the last sitting Congress had direct family ancestors who were slaveholders.
@HarrySmith spoke with two representatives about their own family histories.
1900s: Women voting will harm kids
1930s: Jews in schools will harm kids
1950s: Women working will harm kids
1960s: Mixed race schools will harm kids
1980s: Legalising homosexuality will harm kids
2020s: Transgender people will harm kids
It’s fascinating to see the concept of debate actually being attacked by so many. The bottom line is that you either believe in persuasion or force. It’s truly a binary. Liberty is persuasion and tyranny is force.
The state of Florida never provided medically necessary gender-affirming care to Duane Owen — causing her enormous suffering and violating her right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment for the more than 30 years she was in state custody.
Today there are culture wars surrounding books that mention any LGBTQ themes. Nearly half the country becomes outraged if a child sees a drag queen. Parents call for book bans if a book talks about someone having two dads.
Reality is though, that this is nothing new. What's new to me is only the massive amounts of outrage.
- Sesame Street, in 2021, introduced two gay dads Dave and Frank along with their daughter Mia on their show.
- Bert and Ernie are a gay couple, according to the show’s former writer (although the show’s producers deny it).
- Nickelodeon, in 2002, had a show called 'Nick News Special Edition: My Family Is Different.' It featured kids of gay and lesbian parents.
- Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Korra, which came out in 2014, had an LGBTQ main character.
- In 2015, drag queen RuPaul was a guest on Bubble Guppies on Nickelodeon.
- The character Dana Dufresne in Nickelodeon’s ‘Loud House’ transitioned to a transgender woman in 2019.
There have been many shows aimed at kids which have LGBTQ characters. This has been going on for over 20 years.
It seems to me that only now is the country in an uproar whenever a new character, book, or TV show comes out, aimed at kids, featuring LGBTQ themes or characters.
Why?
This Uganda law is horrific & wrong.
Any law criminalizing homosexuality or imposing the death penalty for “aggravated homosexuality” is grotesque & an abomination.
ALL civilized nations should join together in condemning this human rights abuse.

The @budlight boycott doesn't end until @budweiserusa :
1. Denounces the LGBTQ agenda.
2. Fires woke executives
3. Hires Right wing executives
4. Creates a culture committee staffed with right wingers
5. Donates to RW causes
6. Requires anti-woke, anti-egalitatian training
@jameslj And how much of the crush was framing post-adolescence?
That is, do you simply look back at that with hindsight and attached greater meaning to it?
We just want the Right to get together and crush the left.
We don't want to hear about Trump v. DeSantis.
We want to hear about how we get leftist academics, journalists, politicians, and businessmen into prison camps.
Trump narrowly beat Hillary Clinton—the most unpopular person to run for president in recent history—but still lost the popular vote in 2016, then blew a billion dollar war chest but still lost to a half-dead Biden.
People not only want to live in 2016 forever; they want to live in a fake version of it. But the guy who took a small win and turned it into a bigger one is the governor of Florida.
