🚨 PRESIDENT TRUMP DROPS BOMBSHELL ON CUBA:
“Cuba has collapsed. We will handle that as soon as we take care of the Islamic Republic of Iran… then on our way back, we’ll make a little brief stop.”
Trump says 95% of Cubans voted for him, and he’s not forgetting them.
“These are unbelievable people. Energetic. Entrepreneurial. Some of the richest people in Miami are Cuban. We will take good care of them. We will let them go back to their land, invest in Cuba, and be with their families. We have very good plans.”
NEXT STOP, CUBA.
The Cuban regime must make immediate economic and political reforms. We are asking very simple things:
-Open the economy,
-Free political prisoners,
-Stop treating private citizens as a threat, and
-Stop blaming America for the misery produced by Havana and its failed policies.
This is exactly what should be happening.
A dictatorship is never just one man. It survives because of the family members, loyalists, institutions, and enforcers who protect it.
Today's sanctions reach beyond Díaz-Canel to his wife, members of the Castro family's inner circle, the CDRs, and the military apparatus that has helped sustain the regime for decades.
This is a meaningful step toward accountability for those responsible for keeping the Cuban people oppressed.
Met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al Sabah to affirm the United States’ commitment to the security of Kuwait and all our partners in the Gulf. The United States and Kuwait are united in our vision of regional stability and an open and free Strait of Hormuz.
.@SenMcCormickPA on @DAGToddBlanche: "I have a lot of confidence in him. He's done a fine job as the deputy. I've gotten to know him — and I think he'd be a fine Attorney General."
Unfortunately, the Castro regime has fooled Medea and the activists of Code Pink. They have completely drunk the Kool-Aid.
What I want for Cubans is the same freedom Medea enjoys in Washington: the right to protest, criticize the government, and go home safely.
Try doing that in Havana. In Cuba, opposing the regime can land you in prison, or worse. Cubans deserve freedom and free elections.
Dan Caine, el hombre que estuvo militarmente al mando de la operación para capturar al narcoterrorista Nicolás Maduro en Venezuela, visitó Caracas el día de hoy.
Es un mensaje muy claro.
NEW: Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche reacts to news that President Trump intends to formally nominate him to the job full-time:
"Obviously, I'm honored and humbled that the president indicated he was going to nominate me.”
“I will work with the senators. I have a good relationship h with the Senate, both sides.”
“I don't say no to phone calls. I'll meet with anybody that wants to meet with me."
Met with @realDonaldTrump yesterday and presented him with a model of the Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornet airplane (a symbol of Northwest, FL).
We talked everything CD-1 related AND I got to bring my boys too. They could’ve talked sports for hours!
Thank you, President Trump!
Secretary Rubio is right.
For more than 60 years, the Cuban dictatorship has exported repression, supported violent actors, harbored fugitives, and helped prop up authoritarian regimes across our hemisphere.
The regime in Havana is not just a threat to the Cuban people. It remains a national security threat to the United States and a destabilizing force throughout the Americas.
The facts are undeniable: the Castro regime has been one of the principal drivers of instability in our hemisphere for generations.
"I am appointing the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, William J. Pulte, to serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence." - President Donald J. Trump
Congratulations to Director Pulte! 🇺🇸
SECRETARY RUBIO: Cuba is actually not controlled by the government. Cuba is controlled by a military holding company named GAESA. GAESA owns virtually everything, and not a penny of that money translates over to the public treasury.
Congratulations to Florida House Speaker @Daniel_PerezFL on his nomination by President @realDonaldTrump to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Brazil.
Speaker Perez has been a strong leader for Florida and will represent our nation well. Wishing him a swift confirmation. 🇺🇸🇧🇷
Today, I was pleased to welcome my good friends Representatives Mario Díaz-Balart, Andy Harris, Chuck Edwards, Jay Obernolte, David Rouzer, and Henry Cuellar to San Juan, colleagues I had the privilege of serving with in Congress and whose longstanding support for Puerto Rico remains.
Along with @PRFAA Executive Director, Gabriella Boffelli, we had a productive discussion on Puerto Rico’s strategic role in advancing America’s security interests across the Caribbean and the Western Hemisphere.
I look forward to continue working together to advance shared priorities for Puerto Rico and the rest of our Nation.
