Today, I spent my Sunday with my son in the children's department.

It was fun but stressful owing to the fact that he is still learning how to walk.

Thank you Jesus for the gift of parenting.

This same me who, at one point, was going several rounds per day has stopped completely? 😭

This is my testimony.

And it could be yours too.

You see, one lie of the devil is that once you start masturbating and watching porn, once you get addicted to drugs and substances, you can never stop.

And this lie has been flying around for ages, keeping a lot of people captive.

But I am here to show you the truth.

The truth is found in the Word of God.

The Bible says in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Addiction does not determine the course of your life because there is a God who sets people free.

Colossians 2:15 says that Jesus “disarmed the powers and authorities” and “made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them.”

That is the Jesus we serve.

Freedom from addiction is ONLY found in Jesus.

And I am living proof.

Look at Paul.

He was once a man who persecuted Christians. He literally went after people who followed Jesus.

Yet God saved him, transformed him, and used him for His glory.

1 Timothy 1:15–16 tells us that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and Paul says he received mercy as an example for those who would believe in Christ.

So I know you think you’re filthy.
I know you think you’ve gone too far.

But if God could use Paul, He can use you.

Come to Jesus today. Surrender your life to Him.

He is waiting for you. He wants to change your story.

Will you let Him?

Don't Marry a Romantic Person!

Childbearing will truly show you why this matters.
Kindness is different from romance.

Romance often works when attraction is still alive, when the mood is right, or when the body is responding to desire.

But kindness works with or without attraction.
Kindness remains when the body changes.

It works whether your body is beautiful or not. Whether you are young or growing older. Whether you are looking your best or going through a difficult season.

Romance may hug you, kiss you and tell you how beautiful or attractive your body is when everything is right.

But kindness does not need gratification before it does its work.
Kindness will still care for you when you are tired.

It will still show up when pregnancy changes your body.

It will still be patient when childbirth takes a toll on you.
It will still help you when you cannot give anything in return.

Because kindness is not always looking for what it can get.

So, before you marry someone because of their looks, chemistry, money or how romantic they are, look at how kind they are.

Because romance may make you fall in love.
But kindness is what will help you survive the seasons of marriage.
