And finally up to date and a happy ending before our end of year camp in December the promotions of Cadets Wilde and Andrews E to the rank of LCpl well done both
After a well deserved break we returned for a new year and our new recruits ready to share in the fun kicking off with Drill and Military Knowledge. Our more advanced cadets began preparing for their next camp shooting, Mil Skills Trg plus Navigation & Expedition training.
The end of August however was a sad time, it was time for our Snr Cadets to leave us as they were now ageing out some of them I have know for 6 years and will be sadly missed. SSgt Sedgwick, Sgt Davis-Bailey and LCpl Jenkins
That was it for the school term but not for GOS CCF (A) we were already preparing for our next residential again at Altcar Training Centre but this time at the invite of Staffordshire and West Midlands ACF who we work closely with.
We worked hard on this camp and had a visit to Liverpool museum and Liverpool Watersport Centre which the cadet really enjoyed but it all came to an end with AltFest awesome show
July saw the start of a busy period with the 1st of our residential camps to Altcar Training Centre where a vast amount of fun was had by all and finished off with AltFest
Its been a long time since GOS CCF(A) post on X but we will try our best and bring you up to speed. The 1st quarter of 2025 saw our cadet's engage in 1st Aid a key skill, Leadership training, Fieldcraft theory, Navigation and Rifle Drill
