I feel like my relationship with this anime is much like Subaru in this episode... Blinded by the pretty light only to regret it 10 seconds later 😂

This anime is simply SO SO GOOD!
From the animation, to the insanely incredible voice acting and the freaking brilliant world and story! And it's obsession with brutally throwing it's fan in the deep end 😭

This is getting absolutely ridiculous now. I have spoken with many other creators and it is not just me going through this.
One person at MarkScan is going around claiming to work for CrunchyRoll but they are based at a completely unrelated Indian company, striking and taking down channels on YouTube and Twitch.

Roughly 10 creators have been hit already and all have been streaming different stuff and none of it has violated Twitch's own policies, YouTubes or the law.
We know this for many reasons but one main one TWITCH AND YOUTUBE REMOVED THE STRIKES!

@TwitchUKI @TwitchUKI @Twitch WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING TO HELP? You have let this person take down channels at will for the last week, fraudulently and have ignored every single creators emails but removed the strikes and allowed them to keep doing it? WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON?!

I cannot stress how big this is. If this keeps happening I will stop doing all content related to anime.
But it might not stop there because the same company and person strikes channels for Taylor Swift related content.

This company, MarkScan needs to be blocked on these platforms. They are not directly affiliated with anyone they claim to be.
I just got striked AGAIN! someone else streamed a picture of an anime, no sound, and got striked for that!
So many smaller creators are reaching out to me to help and I can't even help because if Twitch doesn't block them and I can't get hold of them I can't even fully pursue it legally.

We are literally stuck.
So once again, it's up to you guys, no one is listening to us and this person is just destroying our lives.

Please spread this, help get it in front of as many eyes as possible.
This will destroy me and so many others if it doesn't stop.

We can't keep letting this automatic systems allow anyone to strike, takedown and remove channels without any human eyes ever looking at it.

The G.O.T Channel might be shutting down.

I have received multiple rapid copyright strikes, 3 in total, which clearly seems to be an attempt to remove my channel from YouTube (as 3 is the amount needed for channel termination) for using content that I never used in my Taylor Swift shorts videos.

These are incredibly suspicious strikes due to the fact that I already received a muted notice from UMG for a video uploaded and complied with. Whereas these strikes came from a company I haven't heard of based outside of India not listed as any relation to Taylor Swift's team, label or UMG.

These do not appear to be from Taylor's label and the content that they have listed I have used is exclusive content from the movie theatre show... Which I never attended and is not in any of my videos.

I am going to fight it, but this could result in a channel termination due to the way the YouTube copyright system works.
All the videos were also shorts, under 1 minute, all protected under not only the YouTube shorts policy but fair use guidelines for reaction content as well.

A little peek behind the curtain on Twitch. 🟣

Usually I stay out of controversial topics but seriously...

All content creators (who aren't mega sized but are partners) have to apply to be featured on the front page, you can apply every 3 months for a few hours in a day. ⌚

For the last few months now I have applied, on days that don't have many other people or any applying (as you can see which days are in high demand) to try and organise a charity collaboration stream to help raise money for some animal charities and cancer related charities.

However Twitch keep rejecting me without giving a reason.

You can't contact them, they don't allow you to, they just saw no and you have to deal with it.
As I just got another email saying no, and this time I even upgraded the stream and made sure it met all the extra criteria they requested from me as well as sat perfectly in the content guidelines and still nope, so I guess it's some issue with me?

In the time I've been applying, creators I know have already submitted multiple front page requests and been approved for simple gaming streams or dress up streams...

It seems they would rather have some of the incredibly SUS or POLITICAL streamers featured on the front page rather than just some Dad trying to raise money for some good causes.

Maybe charity streams aren't as 'eye catching' for the Twitch front page? 🤔

Let me know TWITCH when I can get a slot to bring more eyes to some good causes rather than eyes to spreading more hatred or **8008IES** 🙄

I'm a pretty chilled person, I don't say anything bad about other creators.

But this is not on...

Why has it become common practice for big reaction channels to react to other people's songs, videos, content that they put so much effort into creating and NOT EVEN put a link in the description of the video you are watching?

As a reaction channel with a large audience by reacting to those channels, however large or small, you are providing them with your audience's eyes.

Unless you don't link or showcase that channel in any way, then you are simply doing your best to take eyes from that video without sending any of your own their way.

After someone mentioned this I went through some channels I watch and enjoy their reactions regularly and nearly every single one didn't link the video they were watching in the description or even mention the channel name, show it or send any accolades to the creator.

Nice work 👍

Maybe show a bit of love to the amazing creators who help grow your (and mine) channels by taking an extra 3 seconds to put a link to it in your video? 🤔

Or I don't know, maybe I'm being a d'ck.

Something I've got to say.

This is a VERY random post for me but I want to share something extremely personal.

I feel very strange writing this but I want to highlight how this isn't OK and treating people like this is so wrong and just share a bit of myself behind the content with you all.

So, I've been doing reactions for two years now, and it took me a long time to be comfortable reacting the way I do, being me on camera, being emotional and open.
The reason for this sadly comes down to how I was raised. A man isn't supposed to be emotional a man is supposed to be tough etc.

And through the kindness of my viewers I found that people just wanted to see the real me, so that's how I am now, I'm just me.
When something makes me sad or happy or excited sometimes I'll cry and it took me a long time to feel safe doing that for videos and I finally feel like I can just be me on camera.

BUT
On Friday I released my first official vlog and in that vlog I'm watching Taylor Swift live for the first time and getting emotional over it, teary eyed and shaking.
I wanted to share that with everyone and how it made me feel.
Everyone in the premiere was amazing and so sweet and I had the best time! It was a pleasure sharing it with you all. You all make me so unbelievably happy and comfortable being just myself.

Sadly, the same thing I've been dealing with that I allude to from time time happened once more.

Again, it feels weird sharing this but as the stream ended I opened my phone and from my father I have a message once again, for the many times in my reaction journey, making fun of me for being emotional, for crying on camera. I'm not a man. Saying that something is wrong with me.

... All that happiness just vanished.

As a Dad I can't imagine EVER speaking to my boys that way, telling them to not show their emotions, telling them what a man is.

This culture, this idea of what a man should be, I'm done with it.

I'm emotional, I cry, and I'm f*cking proud of it!
I want my sons to be the men who care, the men who love and then men who watch out for people and bring people up not bring them down!

I want to share this about myself AS HARD as it is to send this, I want people to know that there isn't a person in this world who should ever tell you, who you are BUT YOU!

Don't let someone else ruin your shine! And if you want a home to be yourself, you've got one in me! Because all of you gave me one in you. 💜
