Tim Hortons franchisees lobbied CABINET directly to ease restrictions on foreign workers.

Their argument?

63,000 jobs would go unfilled.

They didn’t try raising wages.

They didn’t try improving conditions.

They spent 18 MONTHS lobbying MPs and ministers to import cheaper labour.
