@NicoleOnRacing@Maenfy It’s just an example to make the point. Proton got to race with one car because PPM was racing. Now PPM exited so if Proton wants to race they need to fund another car. I think the bond between Porsche and Penske may cause confusion so I used Proton to make a point
@NicoleOnRacing@Maenfy I hit the word limit but I hope you get the idea. If Porsche mostly funds the program, it’s a Porsche program. Porsche is in control. If privateer funds the program, Porsche will give technical support but not control it.
@NicoleOnRacing@Maenfy Factory support doesn’t necessarily mean factory program. It’s down to who funds it. For example if Proton has the funding for 2 cars, Porsche would absolutely support it but only on hardware and software wise. However Porsche has full control on PPM for example driver selection
@Maenfy@NicoleOnRacing To my understanding as long as the 963s aren’t factory Larry won’t drive it. He’s on LOAN to McLaren so if Porsche enters any series with factory effort Larry will be back to the 963s
@wingsandtyres@AGRaceResults@AyhancanGuven@manthey_racing You forgot about Lionspeed Vanthoor Heinrich and Feller are equally or even better than the Manthey boys imo. BMWs already have massive bop and will only have more since they won all the nls this year
