For #WorldBookDay2025 we had a focus on the story, The Colour Monster, by Anna Llenas. The children were able to dress in a colour of their choice and consider emotions and feelings, as well as taking part in some exciting colour experiments. ✨ 📚

Our Year 5 children enjoyed a trip to New Theatre to meet author @itschrissmith, hosted by the @Literacy_Trust. He shared his experiences of his writing journey and his new book, The New Famous Five: Five and the Forgotten Treasure. 📖 ✨

Year 4 have spent time this term researching and designing pizzas as part of their DT project. They developed their food preparation skills such as cutting, peeling, and grating. The pizzas tasted amazing too, great work everyone! 🍕✨

Our Year 4 children have been doing some hands-on History learning, investigating the process of building wattle and daub homes during the Anglo-Saxons. They decided it would have been hard, messy work and they were glad they weren't using animal dung! #Growth #TDETAcademies
