Our blog post for Understanding Patient Data as part of their countdown to Christmas is available here 🤩
In it we highlight the need for a wide ranging health data education programme to enable individuals to have the control they want over their health data.

What a day! Fantastic discussions of empowerment in data decisions, legal structures giving legal effect to the control people want, fiduciary duties addressing vulnerabilities and the need for this conversation to continue and grow! Now for a well earned drink!
As part of an exciting research project, we are looking to speak to leaders working on health data in Integrated Care Systems for a one hour interview.

Our letter published in the Guardian last week in response to their article on the relationship between patients and their data. It's a great read and reflects the findings coming out of our study.

It's important to recognise when projects or research have used patient data.
Patient advocates @useMYdata developed a citation & tested it with patients.

Interesting pilot study, exploring potential ways that patients might have more control over how their GP data is used, for research & planning. Project work to date is captured in these sparky infographics – from which the standout theme is the essential need for transparency.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our surveys, speak with us in interviews, and attend our focus groups. The response was amazing! You gave us lots to think about and we really appreciate your contributions. 😊
