@frankybuster_@MelohRush so game is extrapolating root motion from reference bone as a fallback? Or was this exported with one of the forks that support root motion? if the former then good to know ig, wonder if that works for every werehog action
@frankybuster_@MelohRush nah, that's not the issue. Werehog movement is controlled via the animation itself, like a lot of fighting games, and requires root motion to be baked into the hkx.. this is something that the current release of Havok Animation Exporter doesn't currently support
@sonicseriesfan it's crazy how I think every post I've seen from you in recent memory is pushing the original kronos agenda, gotta respect the grind, these screenshots look great
@Inkboi3768 you used to get unique IDs for every file uploaded iirc, it'd just suffix it on to the normal file name.. but when checking the download link that gave a 404 it was.. just the normal filename lol
@Inkboi3768 re-uploaded with a more unique file name and now it doesn't 404.. I guess someone else uploaded a file titled "hatsune_miku.7z" recently to GB and it caused a conflict resulting in 404?
either way, sorted now at last
@Inkboi3768 managed to get a clean copy of v1 and tried re-uploading.. still getting a 404 weirdly
there's now a google drive link listed as an alternate source on the GB page, so you can grab the mod from there at least. Thanks for your patience!
@DarkexNarukami yes you could, a few objects would need to be removed from the set data as they don't exist in LW normally (dashramp, dashring & widespring)
and havok files would also need to be saved out for Wii U.. other than that it'd mostly just work
So.. what exactly was this..? it's Sonic Lost World
I haven't really touched this since getting the visuals how I wanted them, but did have a rough set going in-game so I figure why not show it off, as I think it's a neat proof of concept
link to video in replies
@ManiaTheHedge I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is just showing the thing off as a proof of concept, not a confirmation that development has resumed
thought it better to show what's there than keep it mostly hidden forever with just some random teaser image ๐
totally real Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition boxart just leaked.. trust me guys!!
also definitely didn't delete a previous tweet to fix a few issues with it
@SlaveOfSuzumiya it'll probably still suffer from the dodgy framepacing that's been plaguing recent ST titles @ 30fps
but yeah it's the best the switch version can look and shouldn't have any dips
