What a fantastic start to our Stone Age Day!
We had an introduction to the Stone Age, built our very own Stonehenge and finished off with a super quiz.
We wonder what’s in store this afternoon 🤔 @GPSMissPullen@GreystokePS
Today we learnt about sedimentary rock and how it is formed over millions of years. We crushed biscuits to create different rock types and discussed the key words deposition, compression and compaction. #year3#GreystokeRocks
This morning 3NH have been reading Dr. Seuss books. We made our own stories in the writing style of Dr. Seuss. We’ve had so much fun making silly rhymes and wonderfully wierd stories.
“ The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!” 📖 - Dr Seuss.
Happy world book day 📖🎉 @gpsmisswalker@gpsmisspowell
Thank you to everyone who came to our exhibition of learning yesterday. It was so lovely to see the children share their learning from the Autumn term. 😀
This afternoon in science we explored magnets. We investigated how strong magnets can be, the distance it can attract from and whether it works through materials and even water.
Year 3 are having so much fun this morning, learning all about the Stone age! We have been learning all about hunting, gathering and have even looked at some real artifacts. We can't wait to see what we get up to this afternoon 😊 @GPSMissBoden
