Gratitude to the friends & colleagues who generously donated. The fundraiser closes this week, so thereโs still a chance to help @GPS_Journal reaches its target!
GPS is in the process of commissioning contributors to an upcoming issue that aims to think through how we might speak to the value of performance practices and performance studies in contexts of genocide, cultural erasure, conflict, and displacement.

However, unlike other commissioned contributors who have access to institutional support, the institutions of the contributors in Palestine have been destroyed, and/or they lack the resources and the structural support necessary to undertake such labour.
As a not-for-profit academic journal, GPS has a limited budget that covers operating costs only, and is not in a position to pay contributors.
Please help us support this necessary work by fundraising for a small author's fee.
We are honoured to have invited three artists and writers based in Gaza and the West Bank, Palestine, to contribute to this issue (we prefer to preserve their anonymity).

Global Performance Studies is sad to learn that colleague and GPS contributor Kit Danowski passed away last week. We remember him by sharing his piece.
