@GPSMrsSpruce Y3 investigated friction today. We kept all variables the same except for the material on the surface of the ramp, and measured the distance our toy cars traveled. Some great discussion about the effects of friction… and super measuring skills! #gpsscience

We have closely observed the effects of heating and cooling on different materials such as water and chocolate. Such creative ideas for investigations. Y4 even created a mini water cycle and grew cress without adding new water! #gpsscience @GpsYear4

Y4 have been so busy being ‘materials’ scientists this term! We have measured, observed, predicted and reached conclusions using lots of scientific vocabulary and a good deal of reasoned and creative thinking! We are very proud of you all #gpsscience @GpsYear4
