Long day in the books… Layne Minshull (JV Doubles), Tess Bauereiss (SV Doubles) both advance to provincials with silver medal finishes. Stacey Dunning (SV Mixed Doubles) and Crystal Zamzow (SV Singles) both won gold and also advance to provincials in Winnipeg next weekend.

Last day of hockey this season! Semi-final vs Saskatoon Comet Predators at 10:15AM (SK time) to start the day. Big thanks to Dwayne, Lindsay, Haylee, & Marlene (and parents) for providing a great season from GP to GV, Manitou to Melita, Brandon to Birtle, and Souris to Saskatoon.

Congrats to the @femalebruskies for a fantastic U18 @RuralFemaleMB league final. 4 straight games to OT must be a first and double OT in game 5 deciding game was memorable. The arena was packed with plenty of supporters for both squads. Congrats to the Bruskies on a great season.

Another exciting game in Birtle today in game #4. Went back to overtime for the 3rd straight game in series and this time @femalebruskies get the OT winner to stave off elimination. Game #5 Monday night in GP at 7:30PM. Bring your noisemakers, someone is going home with a banner!

Ice Dogs score in the last minute with goalie pulled to tie the score 2-2. The hometown hero Brooke Minshull would not be denied in OT as she converted on her own rebound 6 minutes into OT for the win and a 2-1 series lead. Dogs can clinch @RuralFemaleMB title in Birtle Sunday.

The @RuralFemaleMB U18 League Final is underway. On Friday night the hometown @femalebruskies scored 3 unanswered 3rd period goals for a 4-1 victory. This afternoon the Ice Dogs bounced back with a 3-2 Double OT victory to tie the series at 1-1. Game #3 Saturday in Grandview.

Lost a tight one to Birtle and outshot two other opponents significantly, but ultimately U18 Ice Dogs move to Gold Medal game vs Birtle Bruiskies at 5PM-ish. Montana scored twice in regulation and Raylyn Koshowski with the 2OT winner.
