@RyanNPike@FlamesNation Looking at the draw itself, it sure looks to me like #10 was on its way up when #12 got in the way and was knocked in, continuing our long tradition of never getting bounces in our favour. #Flames
@Trevor_Neufeld All the crying from some of our fanbase about how the Flames were hurting themselves by winning late season games was all for nothing. Winning one more game would've put them in 5th, the same position the Leafs just won the draft from. Wild!
@LilMoserGaming@tanevthegreat8@miketgould It's all a matter of perspective. If the Flames were sitting at 16th overall mid-season and they dropped down to 29th by the end of it, you would be thrilled at their placement in the draft. What matters is that the Flames are rebuilding and they have a good shot at 1st overall.
@Terrytaoe@Trevor_Neufeld I saw that argument being thrown around here too. That if the Flames use those 2nd round picks on a young player, the rebuild is off. Why do some fans have such a limited imagination when it comes to rebuilding?! As if there is a singular path that must be followed.
@ColtonBaxter17 Plus the Blackhawks, Blues, Jets, Leafs, and Devils all won tonight, and the Panthers and Kraken produced a 3-pt game. Pretty much the entire field moved with the Flames tonight, so this win doesn't really hurt their position in the standings.
@brandonleeee23@flamesfever When he finally asks for a trade out, the fans will have no grounds to say he didn't give the team extra time to get it right.
@Trevor_Neufeld@mukmuk0001 These bums begged for management to strip the team of its experienced talent - Zadorov, Tanev, Hanifin, Andersson, and Weegar all gone on defence - stating that the objective should be to suck. Then they turn around and complain that the team sucks and it's all the coaches fault.
