Guessing the number of new accounts created has skyrocketed. You can tell by the movement of some of these “new” gold ranked players something is off. Masters just create new accounts, game not as fun

We recognize that the temporary Master rank fireteam restrictions have prompted a lot of discussion within the community, and we'd like to provide more context on why this system is currently in place.

As players climb the Ranked ladder, matchmaking becomes increasingly focused on competitive integrity. At the Master rank, we want your rank to be a strong reflection of your ability to consistently compete against the highest-skilled players. We've observed that large premade teams can have a significant advantage at this level.

By limiting fireteam sizes in Master rank, our goal is to create more balanced matches where outcomes are driven primarily by player skill and performance. This also helps improve player distribution across matchmaking, leading to healthier queue times and a more consistent competitive experience overall.

We're continuing to monitor feedback and Ranked data and listening to your feedback as we evaluate the situation.
