We are looking forward to hearing all about your microbiome research! 🦠
GRAM members-- please fill out this form with the highlights of your research to potentially be featured on our social media pages, as well as the CoSMic website! https://t.co/VdZS7IjzpE
We are thrilled with the amount of growth GRAM has had within the last few months! The leadership team is dedicated to getting microbiome scientists together, and we thank all of our members for coming out to support this club!
We had an amazing turnout to listen to our Colorado State University Next Generation Sequencing Core Director Jessica B. Henley talk. The interdisciplinary microbiome research network built through hashtag #CoSMic and Group of Researchers Across Microbiomes (GRAM) is strong!
Thanks all for attending and presenting awesome research at FRMS last Friday! Also a special thanks to those that helped coordinate the event. Can't wait for next year!
@Soph_Jurgensen in @TheWrightonLab presenting such cool research! Check out how ‘Getting into the MUCC reveals microbial carbon cycling dynamics in freshwater ecosystems.’
Emily Bechtold a post-doc in the @wilkinslab presenting her poster ‘Exploring high methane production in sulfur-rich environments: unraveling the role of methylotrophic methanogenesis.’
One of GRAM’s very own leaders, Rocio, presenting her ~amazing~ research on how ‘Microbiomes keeps the multifunctionality of ruderal ecosystems highly resistant to climate change.’ Great job Rocio!! 🦠
Excited to hear incoming CU Boulder professor @MattagenOlmics’s talk on ‘Applying meta genomic sequencing to decipher the human infant gut microbiome.’
Laura Mason from @TheWrightonLab presenting her awesome work on a multi-omic database of agricultural soils, this is huge! Check out her poster on ‘MANAGE: Multi-omics for ANalyzing AGricultural Ecosystems.’
Awesome poster by Ethan Robinson out of @CUBoulder looking at ‘Credibimity and Expectancies Of Probiotic Supplementation As a Means of Supporting Healthy Stress Regulation.’
Awesome talk from Xing-Feng Huang presenting his research that shows ‘A coal-derived Soil Amendment Promotes the Plant Growth of Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annum) and Changed the Rhizosphere Microbial Communities.’
@RaeganLPaul in the @wilkinslab presenting on ‘Tracing rice paddy methanogen community dynamics and interactions across a growing season.’ So awesome to have one of our very own GRAM leaders present such cool research.
@JulieFowler19 from the @wilkinslab presenting her awesome research on ‘Mountain pine beetle kill followed by salvage harvesting leads to a loss of soil ectomycorrhizal fungi in State Forest, Colorado.’
