Today Elijah and I did our Walk for Water. It poured rain while we walked our 6 km (average distance walked for water). It is a small inconvenience compared to what kids and families face to find some form of water in countries with little access to water. https://t.co/zS45EbQwiz

@Mikeggibbs My 8 year old son and I live with my parents. Helping them and them helping me. I feel we have lost sight of what it means to care for and honor your parents. I love my parents dearly for the care and love growing up. Now is my time to care for them.
Trying to stay awake for my son's next dose of Tylenol for his high fever. He's got fever, headache and tiredness. He's only 8. Dear Jesus help him. #mypoorboy
My portable classroom has its challenges at the moment, frozen toilets and an internet access problem, but we have an amazing staff of custodians and IT working on it. It would have difficult to have kids here during this. #thegreatdefrost
Starting today at 6 am we prepped and served breakfast for evacuees. My church is housing and feeding three meals a day with food and other donations from around our community. So many people pitching in to support those who have been stranded or lost so much. #kindness#giving
Laid my last living grandparent to rest today. She was an amazing woman with very little education but read her Bible daily. She has a strong legacy of love and prayer. I am recalling so many great memories while treating myself to hot chocolate. #missyougrandma#amazinglady
Today, I spent my time at the hospital with my grandma who, after a severe fall, is about to pass away. She is my last living grandparent. I missed my PD conference. No way could I mentally participate in PD sessions when my grandma could pass any time. She means so much to me!
