Mt Fuji Challenge

David and James are raising money for charities tackling climate change by cycling and climbing from the British Embassy Tokyo to the top of Mt. Fuji and back.

We followed two colleagues at the British Embassy Tokyo as they attempted to cycle from Tokyo to Mt Fuji 5th station, climb to the top, climb back to the 5th station and then cycle back to Tokyo within 48 hours! Here's how they got on 🚲🚲⛰️

Another unfortunate setback as we receive news that at around 4am this morning a landslide at the 6th station has made the path too dangerous to climb. The team will make the return trip back to Tokyo by bicycle as planned without making the full ascent #mtfujichallenge
