We're committed to making the streets outside our schools safer and healthier for our children. To help us do this we are proposing to implement nine additional School Streets across Medway and would like your feedback.

🚨BREAKING: The Labour Government has agreed a deal with junior doctors to end 18 months of strikes.
After 14 years of Tory neglect, Labour is taking action to cut waiting lists and reform our broken NHS.
A proud Medway Labour Day in parliament starting with two maiden speeches from @naushabah_khan for Gillingham & Rainham https://t.co/xY3kpa6gpA and @cllrtrisosborne for Chatham & Aylesford https://t.co/76VBA7cYhG

🐕🦺🦮🐾Keeping dogs out of play areas, or on leads in cemeteries, is something responsible dog owners already do. This dog control PSPO will make the rules clear for everyone, with those who ignore them at risk of a £100 fine. Me on @KMTV_Kent. Report here: https://t.co/JT7RteVZz6
Following my recent question to @mhclg about the steps being taken to regenerate our #HighStreets, I requested a meeting to discuss the introduction of a compulsory register for vacant properties.
This would be a crucial part of our efforts to breathe new life into our High Streets, which have already seen a positive start locally with yesterday's launch of the Love Gillingham initiative.
P.S - It will be great to see #LoveGillingham in Hansard!
Sensational day at the inaugural Love Gillingham Big Day Out
Huge thanks to everyone who made the event such a success, to residents who came out to enjoy the day and a special thanks to the Gillingham Task Force chaired by @naushabah_khan#LoveGillingham#ProudToBeMedway

Sick of the far right, social media and some politicians stoking fires that have caused the scenes we are seeing across the country.
Pushing an agenda that suits them at any expense. And yet they call themselves patriots…
This is my country too and I won’t be told otherwise #racism #Islamophobia @hopenothate #Riot
Busy Saturday speaking to residents in the High Street at our regular Gillingham Street Surgery and taking up issues and offering support where needed.

🏡Following the #DeputyPrimeMinister’s Statement today, I raised my first question in the House on the increasing pressures of #homelessness & #temporaryaccommodation, which is impacting people across Gillingham & Rainham.
Meeting temporary accommodation needs across Medway is creating a £2.8 million in-year budget pressure on the council. #housing
Huge news just in from @TeamGB@Olympics …
