@bluecornboy That's not to say that I believe all palm oil uses are created equal. Feasting on jollof once in a while is a drop in the bucket compared to the endless list of its uses in daily products. It's a magial substance, so I long for a time when it's no longer overused.

@bluecornboy All uses of palm oil are in competition with the same unscrupulous manufacturers/consumers. So any palm oil consumption, whether it's directly contributing to rainforest destruction or not, contributes to the economics that favor more destruction.
