@SweegerOfficial He’s such a direct player, doesn’t overcomplicate it, just makes the pass or the shot, doesn’t think about consequences. Not sure he’d start every week for us but a good signing for killie, hopefully the making of him
@Fergie_SZN1 It’s a win/win for the board, appoint him and get fans on board, if he does well everyone’s happy. If he gets appointed and does poorly they can justify not giving him it initially. Give him til old firm on new years to meet targets, if not enough time to get replacement.
@p____67 I don’t rate Clarke at all, at first I liked the appointment but he’s been very lucky with some of the ways we’ve qualified via the ‘last chance saloon’ however if we play poor both games we will win, and when we play well we get beaten, I expect pain sadly 🙃
@RFC_Michael_ Martin should put the round pegs in the round holes and we could progress. We were abysmal last week and they only beat us 3-1, he’s shown he’s feeling the pressure, his system should be abandoned as it was against st Mirren, direct football would get a result
@KaiGWatson I’ll always back players who wear the strip but for a big pressure game and our left back choices being dependent on a player on a young player who’s not played a majority of first team games for the last season or two is a worry. Hope I’m proved wrong however.
@johnwalker_1986 In my opinion regardless of which level you play 9/10 times the team with better players wins. Players can have bad games which usually affects this. Until at an elite level where it’s an even playing field, playing patterns outside of small tactical changes are insignificant
@AboutScotlandd Couldn’t ask for a much better squad barring the goalkeeper situation, continually picking negative tactics and not playing to our strengths, blind loyalty to players not good enough, change is needed before too late. Any half decent manager with that squad qualifies each WC/euro
@itsocheagain I liked it at first, I know they’ve taken a new direction, it’s a business at the end of the day and they have bills to pay no doubt. However often people who constantly change their story are less believed than those who stick to the same story. Turned off comments says it all
@itsocheagain They’ve basically pushed a dream and a narrative, allowed some lesser known players to get exposure, now membership has increased through thsi false hope given. Now they have reduced qualifiers and reverted to what should’ve been the case in the first place, it’s desperate.
@itsocheagain I think realistically they would always get better numbers showing the bigger names from yesteryear. From a business perspective it’s perfectly reasonable. The issue is all the narrative how it was open to all over 50s now has been reduced to 45s with even less qualifiers
@Rangers_Spares_ Don’t think GVB was unsuccessful, unlucky in final, won Scottish cup, lost league by a narrow margin(mainly 2/3 draws) champions league group of death all whilst having the squad sold from beneath him and only real signing was an injured yilmaz
