@danwiederer C1 "Ignorance is Bliss: How newspapers sealed their own demise by failing to secure an online foothold after the dot.com bust."

I've been staring at a computer screen for 18 hours working on this NCAA investigation story. Vision is now blurry, so it's time to sleep.

After Tuesday's huge turnout, the NC Pro-Am has scheduled another UNC-NCSU matchup for next Tuesday @ 9pm.

From a State fan on Debbie Yow -- "Let me get this straight. We're 'considering' replacing Uncle Jed with Granny Clampett?"

A tennis match tied at 59-59 in the fifth? There are no words.

UNC playing basketball exhibition games in Nassau on Aug. 11-12. Biggest benefit? Ten days of extra practice.

Diamond Heels fall in the Norman Region. Gutsy showing on Sunday night, but UNC would have had no one to pitch on Monday night, anyway.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

It's 10:58 a.m. in Norman and already 88 degrees. Ouch. Triple digits, here we come.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

UNC-Oklahoma game tonight is huge. Loser must win three straight, while the winner only needs one more victory to claim the Norman region.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Heading to Oklahoma for the Norman Regional on Friday. Highs in the low 100s all weekend. Brutal.

Justin Knox to UNC. This fills a huge need after the Wears' defection.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

29 minutes before UNC-GT tip in Greensboro, and I could count the number of fans in the stands if I had the urge.

Hard to envision UNC playing on Saturday of the ACC Tourney. Knocking off Hewett and GT would not be a surprise, but that's not saying much.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Heels likely heading to the NIT. With Smith Center renovations scheduled, a road opener probably awaits.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Throw 20 pounds on Henson this offseason and he'll challenge for All-ACC honors next season. The kid oozes athleticism.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Tyler Zeller is scheduled for a MRI tonight at 8, so hopefully we'll find out a timetable for his return tomm.

ACC football schedule due out Thursday.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Heading to Roy's press conference at 2 pm. Drew's expected to practice today. No word yet on Davis.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Willis to UNC was a crucial stroke of luck for a recruiting class in need of a big-time DT.

[GSBarnes @GSBarnes]

Kiffin texting TENN recruits to follow him to USC? Not surprising, but still sketchy.
