Garibaldi was a member of the Piedmontese Parliament and later the Italian Parliament.

Whether either was elected, or just grabbed the position by force, I don't know.

I'm delighted by today's announcement that Universal Studios is coming to Bedford and to Wixams & Wilstead ward.

I think it's a real opportunity for local jobs, infrastructure and growth and it should ensure that we get a bigger, better Wixams Station.

An honour to again lay a wreath on the war memorial in Wilstead this morning, on behalf of the Borough Council.
As always, it was incredibly moving to hear the names of the fallen read out, recalling that some had died over 100 years ago.
