Today we met with .@RepDeanPhillips immigration staff to discuss the unique challenges faced by 100,000 skilled legal immigrant women across the country, due to discriminatory country caps.

@RepJayapal I lost my job twice during the pandemic due to no fault of my own. Once due to layoffs at the start of the pandemic and again due to @USCIS processing delays for #H4EAD. It’s been the hardest year of my life to say the least.

@RepJayapal Thank you mam for raising this issue! we #WomenForcedToQuit from our jobs (I was working as Operations manager in a IT Healthcare company serving as an essential worker) and was managing my remote Job with perfection while handling my kids but forced to quit due to #H4EADdelays!
