Priti Patel nearly imposed thousands of foreigners on Linton-on-Ouse in spring 2022. When locals protested, Kevin Hollinrake, the Tory MP ignored them. Then a pro-refugee group calling itself Linton-on-Ouse Action Group, made itself the leaders of the protests with the help of the Yorkshire Post and other press. The Action Group (probably just Olga Matthias) was solely concerned that Linton was a bad place for the refugees. Then Kevin Hollinrake began to show an interest, then claimed victory when the government dropped the plans, and was then made Tory party chairman.

He told a caller to LBC this morning that he rejected claims that his remarks were antisemitic but then said: “the Jewish lobby in America is organised and powerful, but not for one moment do I think that they tried to influence the election, I think it’s ridiculous”.

Elite Theorists and Schizos have been proven repeatedly wrong about Restore Britain.

The problem is in assuming that every actor is a cynical Machiavellian, self-serving arsehole, there is no place in the analysis for oddballs, idealists, dreamers, or doddery boomers.

This is not to say that Restore will sweep into power, or that the folding into the mainstream will never happen. But it hasn't yet, despite myriad live-streams and videos on supposedly friendly platforms predicting it.

But this is where the content's predictive nature becomes toxic. Having predicted the demise, or rug pull, of the Party, they now have an incentive to make it happen, lest their egos be damaged.

Again, this is not to say that this will end; chances of success are extremely slim, but either way, the Elite Theory/Schizo axis has done sweet fuck all to help.
