Some of them show visible signs of serious health problems. These are people who need medical treatment and care—not to be shipped off to a military training ground.

It looks less like the state fulfilling its duty of care than like the state punishing those it is supposed to protect.

Everyone is marvelling about the next insane aid package that NATO (the Europeans and Canada) pledged for Ukraine over the next two years. The total, €140 billion, is indeed massive.

But funding and results are two very different things. First, Western countries have already given Ukraine somewhere between $350-$450 billion since 2022 without any significant tangible results (tactical strikes against Russia’s energy sector or Kiev’s usual terrorism aren’t major tangible results). Second, and more importantly, the scheme (not an unusual one in the managerial world) is about the flow of money, and the way it looks on paper, rather than delivering quantifiable results.

60% to 80% (!) of these funds will go right back to the NATO countries in question, though not to their citizens that continue to be fleeced to back this funding, whether they like it or not. These are mostly Europe’s (and a smaller number of Ukrainian) “defense” manufacturers. Ammo, vehicles, artillery shells—all of these are to be produced under the umbrella of “European defense” (in which Ukraine is included as a battering ram against Russia).

Some, and I repeat, only some, of these weapons will then end up in Ukraine. And, if I understand correctly, none of this money is being pledged for humanitarian needs.

None.

Yet even if a portion of these arms is given directly to Ukraine, it won’t solve that country’s manpower problem. There is a reason why Kiev has been resorting to kidnapping men off the streets and trying to get European countries to return its military-aged males home. Domestic drone production and the exaggerated technological advancements can only achieve so much.

A smaller, but sizeable, portion of this money will fund the likes of arms industry lobbyists, endless meetings, and so on. This is where some of the money-laundering is likely to take place. And that’s assuming (naively assuming) that the money directly pledged for arms production wouldn’t be laundered. In light of what we know from the official Western mainstream media itself about Ukraine’s corruption levels (which is the tip of an iceberg that doesn’t implicate the other—foreign—parties lining their pockets), the potential for misappropriating funds in this cozy bilateral relationship is impressive.

This bilateral relationship appears to be the biggest money-laundering scheme in history.

In the meantime, that same Western mainstream media is also sharing the other side of the coin: the costs to ordinary Europeans. These stories are usually published without underscoring the direct link to the war in Ukraine (they occasionally mention the impact of COVID-era policies and rarely the Nord Stream sabotage). Multiple media sources tell us that, to take Europe’s biggest economy, some of Germany’s at one time famous manufacturing moved elsewhere (Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, BASF, Bosch, et al, expanded into China and other Asian countries), that Volkswagen is cutting 1/6 of its workforce, while Bosch is to reduce 7,000 workers, that tens of thousands of German companies declared bankruptcies since 2022, that the once-punctual railways aren’t running on time, and that the workers’ medical leaves are being reduced, just to name a few.

Such data shows the real impact of funding the war in Ukraine. That funding is, in fact, not endless. And, at some point, some hapless appointed country managers (they’re not really leaders in the true sense of the word) will have to answer for the lack of results in this war and for the nosedive that the European quality of life has been taking by design. And it won’t be pretty.

Lviv was the only region where Petro Poroshenko—not Volodymyr Zelenskyy—won the 2019 presidential election.

It is also Ukraine's most "patriotic" city, home to the country's largest monument to Stepan Bandera, where men proudly call themselves Bandera followers.

Lviv has long worn its nationalism as a badge of honor, proudly placing it at the center of its identity.

Yesterday, several hundred residents of Lviv turned on draft officers, overturning and destroying their vehicle after the officers allegedly beat a man and forcibly conscripted him.

This was not an isolated outburst. It was a symptom of a much deeper crisis: forced mobilization.

People are running out of patience.
They are told to endure, to march to the front, and to die, while the children of prosecutors, judges, and Zelenskyy's well-connected allies continue enriching themselves far from the trenches.

The sense of social injustice has reached a boiling point. The reservoir of public patience is overflowing. And no amount of patriotic rhetoric can contain that anger anymore—not even in ultra-patriotic Lviv.

Yesterday's events should be read as a red card for Zelenskyy and those enforcing his policies.
If nothing changes, he may yet face his own Maidan—one that could prove bloodier and more violent than what unfolded yesterday in Lviv.

🚩 Aufrüstung in Ostdeutschland: Das BSW zeigt Courage!

🪖 Die Bundesregierung plant in Bernsdorf in der Lausitz ein Logistikbataillon der Bundeswehr zu stationieren, was als logistische Drehscheibe des US-Stützpunktes "Fort Trump" nahe Glogow in Polen fungieren soll. Da die Ostdeutschen mehrheitlich die "Zeitenwende" und die dahinter stehende Kriegsgefahr ablehnen, lockte die etablierte Politik mit dem Versprechen von 1000 neuen Arbeitsplätzen und zusätzlichen 750 Millionen Euro an Investitionen für die Unterstützung der Ostdeutschen für dieses militaristische Projekt. Bei den sogenannten Investitionen geht es allerdings vor allem um den Bau der Kaserne, wovon allerdings nicht die Region und deren Bewohner profitieren. Auch handelt es sich bei den versprochenen 1000 Arbeitsplätzen um die vom Bund stationierten Soldaten, während für die lokale Wirtschaft lediglich Lieferanten-oder Reinigungsdienste entstehen würden. Ein Jobmotor sieht jedenfalls anders aus.

🕊 Dies wurde auch bei einer lokalen Podiumsdiskussion zwischen Politik und Bürgern thematisiert, wo vor allem das örtliche BSW dieses Projekt kritisierte, während der Bernsdorfer Bürgermeister Harry Habel die Militarisierung der Region – entgegen dem allgemeinen Bürgerwillen – durchpeitschen wollte. Die örtliche Vorsitzende der BSW-Kreistagsfraktion und stellvertretende Landesvorsitzende, Kathleen Liebscher, kündigte den kompromisslosen Widerstand des BSW gegen die Militarisierung ihrer Heimat an: „Meine Kinder bekommt ihr nicht. Ich habe sie nicht geboren und großgezogen, damit sie im Schützengraben enden."

✊ Das BSW bringt mit dieser leidenschaftlichen Rede gegen Aufrüstung und Militarismus die Empörung vieler Ostdeutscher in der Region zum Ausdruck, welche in ihrer Heimat in Frieden leben wollen. Auch ist es vollständig absurd, wenn aus dem Nichts 750 Millionen Euro an Investitionen für die örtliche Militarisierung locker gemacht werden können, während eine Geburtsklinik in der Region wegen einer Finanzierungslücke in Höhe von einer halben Millionen Euro schließen muss. Damit wird wieder einmal deutlich, dass die Bürger von der Aufrüstung eben nicht profitieren.

Ein #EU-Beitritt der #Ukraine würde laut EU-Studien 186 Milliarden Euro kosten. „Wer soll das bitte bezahlen?“, fragt unsere Europaabgeordnete @RuthFirmenich in ihrer Rede im EU-Parlament. „Die Bevölkerung in Europa, insbesondere in Deutschland, wird für diesen Wahnsinn zur Kasse gebeten!“

Während in unserem Land Schulen und Straßen verfallen, überweisen #Merz und Co. lieber weitere Milliarden an die korrupte Ukraine-Regierung.

Doch das ist nicht das einzige Problem: Durch die Beistandsklausel befände sich die EU nach einem Beitritt der Ukraine umgehend im Krieg mit Russland: „Wer kann das wollen außer denen, die sich an den Rüstungsaktien dumm und dämlich verdienen?“

Die Eskalationsgefahr im Ukraine-Krieg erhöht sich je länger dieser Stellvertreter- und Abnutzungskrieg andauert. Deshalb müssen sich Bundesregierung und EU endlich für europäische Diplomatie einsetzen!

In Indien herrscht aufgrund des Jungenkults ein Frauenmangel, und Frauen treiben ab, wenn sie erfahren, dass sie ein Mädchen zur Welt bringen werden.

Die Ukraine hat keine NATO- oder EU-Mitgliedschaft, sondern nur einen Berg von Krediten, die schlechteste Geburtenrate der Welt und eine Zukunft als Mestizo-Staat. In der ersten Phase sollen 300.000 Migranten ins Land geholt werden.
