Mr. Hussein Mohamed @HusseinMohamedg , we know that when hired by a pathological liar, your default setting is to lie, like your boss. But let me help you internalise the facts;

1. Kibaki was VP last in 1988 before the Mlolongo vote. After him, there were Josephat Karanja, George Saitoti and Musalia Mudavadi. Kibaki became President in Jan 2003. Your suggestion that he was correcting Moi economic wrongs from 15 year earlier makes you sound very ignorant and shallow. Compare that with Ruto who as VP succeeded Uhuru directly.

2. Ruto was widely quoted saying that he was the one in charge of government all the time because Uhuru was too drunk to know anything. When did Uhuru wake up from drunken stupor to take this blame?

3. Kibaki was fired by Moi in 1988, so he would sufficiently have had good grounds to disown Moi economic policies. But Ruto the quintessential coward stayed in Uhuru's government to the end. Only his narcissism makes him disown Uhuru when convenient.

4. There is no economic or political period in this country called "Handshake period". Raila shook Uhuru's hand to bring national stability. He neither joined government nor proposed anyone to join. Indeeed, Ruto stayed as DP and his proposed CSs were there serving to the end. A little bit of mea culpa would go a long way if you want to retain a little credibility. Raila was never part of government. Ruto was.

5. When you say a tax to GDP ratio "worsened" when it stood at 14%, you embarrass yourself mightily. What that ratio says is that Uhuru was not taxing citizens to death. How is that WORSE? Familiarise yourself with these terms before you embarrass yourself in defence of the indefensible.

6. I invite you for a debate on the Kenyan economy anywhere anytime so that I show you why your master is driving citizens to early graves and will be removed from State House in utter shame.
