@EdwardJDavey@simonapcliff Postpone certainly ,but not cancel. The main point of this visit is to mark 250 years of US independence from UK. Trump will be gone very soon in context.
@EdwardJDavey Of course President Trump doesn't merit the kudos of the King's visit, but the visit is intended to help US celebrate its 250th anniversary. It's a country to country event of lasting significance well beyond the term of this reprehensible President.
@lucyjaynewhite1 Appalling racism!! You seem to be calling for my French wife of 54 years to go back to her country of birth, plus many NHS workers and others who keep the country going . Or are you just seeking attention?
@simon_schama The letter to the Norwegian PM surely demonstrates that Trump is deranged and mentally unwell . In "normal" circumstances we should feel sympathy and compassion and seek help for him. Given his position who has the ability and power to ensure such help? The situation is BLEAK
@afneil Many thanks for this chilling analysis. My only disagreement is that the message to Norway was definitely deranged, not almost, and demonstrated serious departure from the facts which he seems not to care about. Seriously concerned about his mental capacity.
@EdwardJDavey Well said Ed. It horrifies me that a senior lawyer and UK leader could endorse such blatant illegal behaviour. The ends do not justify the means. We are on a slippery slope .
@Keir_Starmer The facts are clear enough already .You must condemn action which breaches international law, whether it be Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine or Trump's illegal invasion of Venezuela.
