Enzo is a big problem for managers at Chelsea. This is a fact.

Till now, there is no known position for him. Manager struggling to see where he fits in. They keep changing his role every match day because they can’t keep him on the bench.

Potter was using him as a deep lying playmaker where I think he has played his best game till date but he lacked the physicality off the ball. He got ran over multiple times and a a DM was suggested so he can move forward.

Caicedo came and he was pushed forward under Pochetino but was ineffective that Gallagher was outplaying him and Pochetino began to trust Gallagher more but he couldn’t bench his country man so he kept moving him around the midfield. People.

People blamed Pochetino for it and said that he was using Enzo wrongly and Enzo would cook under a possession based coach. There started a campaign for Poch to move on.

Maresca was appointed, Gallagher gone, Enzo Stan’s happy but nothing changed in his game. Another headache for Maresca. Maresca was pushing him from one midfield position to another and he couldn’t live up to it and then Maresca made him a box crasher and his goals became important for us but took away all his midfield qualities which was manageable.

Till now, no one can tell where Enzo operates the best.

We need to stop calling passing creativity. Alot of this is just picking the obvious pass and executing it well. Creativity is going for a small gap or ignoring the easy ball and playing someone else in who will be in a better position

Enzo is the second best ball winning player in our team, so saying he doesn’t defend shows how stupid and dull Chelsea are. So he should defend and score.
