how much money you make is not what's impressive
how much money you KEEP is
i know people who have made 8 figs and burned it all and i know people who have consistently stacked 5 figs a month and now have a solid 7 figs tucked away with zero stress
Took the longest break I’ve taken from the markets in over a year after an extremely rough start to 2026.
Needed to touch grass and reset. The market is in absolute shambles but seems to be settling around this area.
I’ve learnt the importance of patience.
if you told CT 6mo ago how much worse market conditions would become, most would've guessed that onchain trading will fall off a cliff
what happened?
volumes remained rock solid
why?
opportunity found its way to pump for 2 years straight and that isn't changing anytime soon.
best advice i could give to newer memecoin traders rn is when there's periods of hot volume like what we experienced this month, typically when volume tapers is when people lose the most
you can be printing for weeks straight and all it takes is a couple bad days to rinse it all
we saw this during ccm meta, ai meta, celeb meta, so on and so forth, where vol gets super hot out of nowhere and everyone starts printing way more than usual
the key is to be hyper aware at all times that current market conditions can switch at the drop of a dime and a trading style that may have worked the day prior might no longer work and trying to force something that's not working will make you pay the price
this is advice that i myself ignore at times but it's the most important thing you can learn in order to preserve your capital
