@marshgre @CTVVancouver I never hear of Americans coming to Canada for university, but just about every good Canadian student tries to go to the US for university. Same with jobs. Major brain drain in Canada with the best people leaving to go to the US for their careers and much higher earnings.

@just_mets He comes across as a real diva with all the little perks he needed from the Mets for him and his friends and family. Things he can easily buy which all other players just pay for with their big contracts. A diva attitude in the clubhouse can be a problem.

@JohnnyGiunta_ A lot of players don't want to sign in Toronto for multiple reasons - being in Canada, poorly run organization, least relevant team in its division, etc. Its got nothing to do with the east coast, he's just been having a great year in Baltimore already.

@JoshuaHowsam None of the Jays Sportsnet beat guys are reporters/journalists. They're spokespeople for the team and Rogers. They don't break news they just deliver whatever Rogers/Jays want them to deliver. Passan gets things on his own before they're supposed to go out.
