NO MORE MODS?
Rockstar just tightened its rules for mod creators
The new ban list covers unofficial ports, third-party multiplayer clients, monetization, story edits, and mixing content from different games
On top of that, mixing content between different Rockstar titles, altering official storylines, and using outside intellectual property are all off-limits too
Online, people are speculating this is Rockstar prepping for a faster GTA VI PC release
GTA VI inside GTA V
Modders stacked a pile of mods on top of GTA 5 and recreated scenes straight out of the GTA VI trailer - frame by frame
This isn't GTA VI footage. It's GTA 5
You're right about Rob's comments. I should've made the distinction clearer. He said Rockstar considered going from 3 protagonists to 4, then decided against it because it could dilute the player's time and connection with each character, which led to the Jason/Lucia couple idea.
GTA VI was originally planned to have FOUR main protagonists
Besides Jason and Lucia, the story was supposed to feature two corrupt cops - Kai and Billy, both mentioned in the 2023 leaks
One of them was meant to die around the middle of the game, while the other would then hunt Jason and Lucia down
Rockstar eventually scrapped the storyline because the plot was becoming too crowded, making it harder for players to form an emotional connection with the characters
GTA VI is teaming up with the Miami Heat
On November 18, the team will face the Milwaukee Bucks in special GTA VI-inspired jerseys - and for one night, they’ll even become the Vice City Heat
The game will take place at Kaseya Center, where a "Welcome to Vice City" sign recently appeared
A special GTA VI-themed court will also be built for the game
Someone flew a drone over Miami at night and compared the footage to a similar shot from GTA VI
The resemblance is honestly insane.
The lighting, skyline, roads and overall atmosphere look almost identical. Rockstar really went all-in on recreating Miami
LOVE Magazine just dropped some new GTA VI details
Here’s what we learned:
> Lucia is doing everything she can to build a better life, while Jason is constantly dealing with his own problems
> They’ll make mistakes, argue, and slowly learn from each other
> Rockstar describes Lucia as "perfectly imperfect" - she has her own goals, desires and motivations
> Their criminal journey starts off pretty naive, with both of them thinking it’ll be easy and barely considering the consequences
> One of the game’s main themes is the modern American dream: money, a home, family and trying to escape debt
> Leonida is where massive wealth meets equally massive ambition
> The world of GTA VI is designed as an even crazier, exaggerated version of modern America
GTA VI is coming to a NEW MAGAZINE
LOVE Magazine has announced a new issue featuring an in-depth interview with Rockstar Games, covering:
> Nearly a decade of building the world of GTA VI
> The game's take on the modern American dream
> A highly detailed world where “no one you meet is just background”
> New insights from Rockstar North co-head and development lead Rob Nelson
The issue drops October 5

GTA modding is entering a whole new era
With new AI models, people can now break down parts of GTA, rebuild them, and even combine them with mechanics from completely different games - in a fraction of the time it used to take
We’re already seeing videos of Skate 3 mechanics in Vice City, the Elden Ring map running on San Andreas, and Tarkov-style gunplay in GTA V
This isn’t just AI slop. People are basically building new games on top of old GTA games
The alleged leader of ShinyHunters, the group behind Rockstar’s April data breach, has been arrested.
The suspect is 24-year-old Dutch hacker Pepijn van der Stap, who authorities describe as one of the alleged leaders of the group.
Back in April, ShinyHunters claimed it had accessed Rockstar’s data and demanded a ransom, threatening to leak it if Take-Two refused to pay.
Take-Two didn’t pay. The hackers eventually dumped the stolen data online - and now, months later, one of the alleged leaders has been arrested.
The Rockstar hack exposed internal GTA Online and Red Dead Online business data, not GTA VI game files.
GTA VI marketing is starting to pop up in New York.
Colossal Media, a company Rockstar has worked with before, is already painting huge GTA VI murals around the city.
They’re currently working on artwork that’s being released alongside a vinyl record.
Could this finally mean a proper GTA VI marketing campaign is on the way?
The "Welcome to Vice City" sign lit up in Miami for the first time tonight.
Rockstar’s massive GTA 6 marketing campaign is set to kick off in Miami Beach on October 15, 2026, and will run through the end of the year.
The city and Rockstar Games have reportedly reached an agreement for the campaign.
DREAM JOB: GTA VI devs reportedly spent years going out to strip clubs and drinking - all in the name of making the game 🍻
Rockstar sent them to Miami to experience the city firsthand, including:
> Checking out strip clubs and nightlife spots
> Exploring the beaches and visiting the Florida Keys to experience the local party scene
> Touring the Everglades and seeing its alligators up close
> Riding around different parts of Miami with former police officers
> Even sitting outside in the rain to get a feel for what Florida weather is really like
Now that's some serious research.
GTA VI will feature more than 170 animal species across Leonida
That includes over 60 bird species and more than 30 land mammals, along with plenty of fish, reptiles and other wildlife.
Rockstar VP of Dynamic Art Michael Kane also confirmed manatees, flamingos and pelicans - with alligators already shown in previous footage.
And some of these animals have never appeared in a Rockstar game before.
GTA VI WILL HAVE SEX - OFFICIALLY?
An Australian PlayStation Store ad for the game listed an X 18+ Restricted rating.
Australia has two adult classifications for games: R 18+ and X 18+ Restricted - with the latter associated with explicit sexual content.
Rockstar later removed the ad, but if this was just a typo… that’s one hell of a typo
Details on all six regions making up the GTA VI map have reportedly been revealed 👀
The six major regions of Leonida are:
> Vice City
> Leonida Keys
> Grassrivers
> Port Gellhorn
> Ambrosia
> Mount Kalaga National Park
Vice City brings the Miami-style glamour, packed roads, beaches and a busy cruise port.
Grassrivers is basically GTA’s version of the Everglades - a huge, biodiverse wetland filled with dangerous reptiles and some probably-armed outdoor enthusiasts 💀
Rockstar’s next game after GTA VI could be L.A. Noire 2 👀
The guy who was almost spot-on with GTA VI’s mechanics back in 2023 is now sharing details about Rockstar’s next project.
Here’s what he claims:
> The sequel moves from Los Angeles to San Francisco
> The story will revolve around the Zodiac Killer case
> Rockstar reportedly wants to bring back the face-scanning tech from the first game - but take it to a whole new level
> The game is still in early development, with a potential release around 2030
Nothing is officially confirmed, but this source has a pretty solid track record.
GTA VI could have the most advanced weather system Rockstar has ever made
A Game Informer journalist who spoke directly with Rockstar says players can expect hurricanes and other extreme weather events that actually affect the world around you.
Major storms could change how you move around the map and even temporarily impact certain areas.
And who knows - maybe some parts of Florida could even see snow 👀 Rockstar has already played around with similar ideas in Red Dead Redemption 2, so it's not impossible.
A fan already made his own Macca figure
Just 24 hours after the announcement, someone recreated the gator figure from the collector's edition and 3D-printed it himself
At this point, buying a printer might genuinely be cheaper than buying the official set
GTA VI's trailer didn't impress investors?
Take-Two's market cap has dropped $6 billion since the Extended Look trailer went live
Not even the star-studded album announcement, the Miami billboards, or the collector's editions are helping
Even a surge in pre-orders hasn't stopped the slide - the stock is down 13.5% over the past month
Rockstar is trolling its own fans
Spotted on the art for the $100 Ultimate Edition: a sticker that reads 'Buy more useless shit'
And in the $399 collector's edition, the pink Macca the Gator mirror comes with a note suggesting you use it to "reflect on your life choices"
They can mock players all they want - they know fans are buying everything anyway
