๐จ Mark your calendars for August 27th! ๐จ
Rockstar is finally dropping the "Extended Look" for GTA 6. ๐ฅ The official release is set for November 19, 2026. We are just about 3 months away! โณ
Who has already pre-ordered their copy? Let me know in the comments! ๐
@NikTek I watched the gameplay video an hour ago, how creepy that you are posting it now. I hope the narrator will be back again for the GTA 6 gameplay.
@TGGonYT Could not agree more. The hype cycle for this game is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The best thing anyone can do right now is just grab some popcorn, respect each other, and watch the internet break.
@_ryan_cuh@Wastek6n@videotech I will be able to watch it live, for me, itโs not at a late hour. I was just generally wondering because Rockstar usually posts around 3 or 4 PM.
@SOCALxSOLDIER00@GTAVIGALAXY Yeah, I think so too. Especially because they are presenting it on Netflix and announced it early, I think it will be 20+. Who knows, we'll find out soon.
In a new interview with IGN, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick shared key details about the upcoming Netflix presentation:
- Rockstar is using the Netflix partnership to experiment with entirely new marketing strategies.
- Zelnick specifically referred to the showcase as an "extended trailer".
- The video will be exclusive to Netflix for exactly six hours before arriving on YouTube and other outlets.
- When asked about the content, he refused to spoil anything but confidently stated that everyone is going to watch it anyway.
- Adressing the subscription complaints, his message was simple: if you are not a Netflix subscriber, you definitely should be.

"I am sure you are going to watch it because everyone is." You have to respect the absolute confidence from Strauss Zelnick here. He knows Take-Two and Rockstar hold the keys to the biggest entertainment release of the history. He is not even trying to sell it, he knows the internet will stop for it.
@NikTek Gamers will happily pay an extra 30 bucks for a 3-to-7-day "early access" to a buggy AAA game, but lose their minds over a 6-hour exclusive trailer window on Netflix. The double standard is wild.
