@WalterMorgan_@RyzeGTAVI I don’t actually mean the golden/final build, but the latest build at that time, with the NPCs count maximized. Though I really hope you are right and it is for other things and it could 💯 be the case.
@WalterMorgan_@RyzeGTAVI To test the game performance 💀 + if this is the actual QA build he needs the final game build to find any performance/Memory issues.
@DetectiveSeeds0 How does the metadata puts the footage from 2023, the night scene had a song from 2025 playing, so most likely it is after 2025, even with the possibility that R* might’ve gotten it earlier, I would assume that it is not MUCH (2 years) earlier.
That 100% could be the case, but for some reason I feel like we should go into this with the mindset that this could be a close version of the game, just so we don’t get disappointed if it actually is.
Just FYI the song being played in GTA 6 leaks may have released publicly in January 2025, but Rockstar probably had access to the unreleased version of it prior to its release to plug into the game. So, the build this cyberleek person has could still be in that 2023-2024 range.
The GTA leaker definitely has some build of the game, I’d assume it’s an individual QA build. But organizations follow the “principle of least privilege,” a company like Rockstar wouldn’t give just anyone access to the full or even current/final build, so nothing is guaranteed.
@onlyjack3736@rockstationonx@RockstarGames I don’t think so, if he got another footage I think he would’ve drop it by now, every minute to him is closer to being detected and captured.
@rockstationonx@RockstarGames 100% True. But I hear more and more people speculating this might not be a gameplay or classic trailer, it might be story within a story in the world of GTA 6 (like the cyberpunk 2077 show), which will make me disappointed.
@rockstationonx 100% could happen, GTA 4 had no gameplay trailer, GTA 5 had 1 gameplay trailer and RDR2 had 2 gameplay trailers, I could see a gameplay extended looks being multiple videos rather than all in one + that will avoid them running out of things to show and revealing to much at once.
@rockstationonx I got a feeling it will be a documentary like and will talk about the leaks, how it affected the company, how the game have improved and show some gameplay. I hope not I want the iconic voice of R* to return and lean heavily towards showing the new game features and technology.
The marketing for GTA 6 is a disaster.
To all the "experts" saying "it doesn't need marketing, it will sell anyway" or "the marketing is amazing," I don't see how it’s amazing. In 3 years, we’ve only had 2 trailers and some images.
No posters in the streets, nothing in stores, and the cover reveal was clearly underwhelming compared to GTA 5. It’s 2026; Rockstar has a massive budget compared to 2013, and the game is much bigger. Yet, we’re nowhere near the level of hype they delivered 13 years ago. Pretty disappointed so far. 🎮📉

@rockstationonx Opening pre-orders before the real marketing push feels backwards to me. The community hype was already there, and Rockstar could’ve built on it with trailers, previews, and gameplay to drive even more pre-orders. Instead, it feels like they expected the hype alone to do the work
